NORDIC WALKING INTRODUCTORY SESSIONS

TURN A WALK INTO A WORKOUT !

 Next Tuition - Last Saturday of every month at 10am to 11.30am

                                 Venue -  Abbeyfields Kenilworth                     

               ( other times & venues can be arranged to suit you)

                                                      

                                                BOOKING ESSENTIAL 

 (£15 per person) this one off session teaches you the technique. 


 I also do recap sessions if you think you need me to check on your technique. 

After your Tuition there is the option to join the Nordic Walkers Whatsapp Group to join their regular practice walks. Nobody knew each other before & they love to see new people join. They are a great friendly bunch of all ages & fitness levels.

 A one off 90 minute tuition  is all you need to become a Nordic Walker. If you decide it's for you, all you have to do then is buy your own poles ( from £20 online) & away you go.

  A 90 minute Tuition session costs £15 per person.

 I teach in small groups of 5 people.

You can contact me with a ready made group of 5 & i will set aside a Day / Time & location to suit you & your group.

   Further Info on Nordic Walking 

  1.  Nordic Walking is unique. It burns more calories than normal walking , but feels much easier. This is because your legs are not doing all the work as the technique harnesses the power of  the upper body. This results in greatly reduced impact on knees, hips & ankles, whilst strengthening & mobilising the upper body, reducing tensions in neck & shoulder areas.It allows you to tackle uphills with ease (honestly) & downhills without hurting your knees & without fear of falling.
     I have taught many people over the last 19 years , many of whom have decided to buy their own poles, but also  enjoy my monthly group practice walks ( dependant on sufficient numbers) to check they are not getting into any bad habits & to recap on technique & of course to have an enjoyable  chat amongst other Nordic Walkers
