Zoom Classes are Here to Stay

Mon 9am, Tue 10am, Wed 10am, Wed 6.15pm, Thurs 9.30am & Thurs 12.15pm (Live classes) + unlimited

Zoom Classes are Live 'virtual' classes viewed by you on your Laptop, I-Pad, Phone or Smart TV.  I do observe & correct you throughout each class.  

I was amazed when my hall class members who reluctantly tried virtual zoom classes during lockdown, have chosen to continue on zoom 2 years on. Some have opted for zoom instead of returning to hall classes at £30 pcm. Others have opted for the combination of both which is a bargain by the way at £42 pcm.


  I offer a Free One   to One 15 minute Zoom Session with you to make sure you are happy with the setting up  & to discuss any medical concerns. Also your first week of Zoom Classes is free including access to recorded classes & daily stretches videos on the Private 'Members' Login', so you can enjoy up to 4 live classes per week but always have the recorded classes to do at a time to suit you if you prefer.


All classes are different to keep exercises varied & to give you total body toning & strengthening .All classes are for all abilities as i teach all Levels of each exercise, showing you Modifications & Progressions of each exercise, so that you can make every class Personal to You.


Zoom is very quick & easy to download onto your laptop,  I-pad or phone - if i can do it anyone can ! This technology & virtual teaching is a whole new world for me but it keeps us interactive, fit & strong so its worth a go.

Don't worry if you are new to Pilates, my classes are safe & effective for beginners too.

How to access my Zoom Classes ...

Once you have downloaded the free zoom app on your choice of viewing device, you do not need to go into zoom again as all class links and recordings are on my website, on the 'Members Login Page' 


To gain access to The Members Login Page - 

  Go to my website    www.josclass.com

  Click on 'More'

  Click on 'Members Login'

  Go to bottom of page & create your personal access to this page with your email address & your chosen personal password.

  Send me a text to 07504 105523 to tell me you have done this

   I will then send you an email granting you access to this page

  

 Then Login to the page just before Live Classes & click on the class link for that day / time ( the long http://  link)

 Or Login at any time to suit you as often as you wish to do the recorded classes & 15 minute pure stretch classes


General Tips

  1. Please “arrive” for your class five minutes before the start time . You can "arrive"  20 minutes before if you fancy a chat with other participants & myself.
  2. The meetings are set-up to start with participants’ cameras turned on, and their microphone turned on. However i will mute all participants at the start of the class so that background noise is not picked up.
  3. You can turn off your camera if you prefer, but I won’t be able to see how you’re getting on. If you need to get my attention during the class, you can choose to un-mute yourself and talk to me directly.
  4. I do not play music as it interferes with the quality of my verbal instruction. So get the music of your choice ready to play for the start of the class, relaxing music is ideal  or if you have an  Alexa, ask it to play Pilates Music. 
  5. After the class has finished, you can un-mute yourself by touching the screen & clicking on the red microphone symbol, so we can have a chat and get feedback.


Helpful Tips

  1. Set up the app and check the audio and video well in advance so that you are familiar with the settings and don’t miss anything.
  2. Set up your device so that you can see it clearly and position it, so you are not having to strain the neck or spine out of neutral alignment if possible.
  3. A smartphone will work, however it’s very small, and the sound quality is not as good.
  4. Using a Laptop or PC will work much better – and consider connecting it to your TV for the best experience. Ipads are a slightly smaller screen but have good audio.
  5. Make sure your battery is full, or better still plug it into a power source, or you might disappear!
  6. Set your mat up so you can see the whole of it on the screen.
  7. Ensure you have plenty of space around you.
  8. Have plenty of light so I can see you clearly! It’s easier to make any corrections then.
